Web Awareness Barometer 2008 (English edition)

Thank your for participating in the Web Awareness Barometer 2008!

This survey is conducted by the Semantic Web Company in cooperation with Know-Center Graz and the work group Corporate Semantic Web at the Dept. of Computer Science at Freie Universität Berlin .

What is this about?
The survey aims to uncover the current state of information and awareness regarding the uses and areas of application of Social Software and Semantic Web technologies. A special focus is put in using these technologies in companies and public organisations. The survey is addressed to individuals from the industry and research alike and wants to contribute to gaining a better understanding of the potentials and barriers for the application of new web technologies. The term ‘Web’ in this context does not refer exclusively to the World Wide Web, but to all applications, technologies and methods, that connect people and machines and that can be accessed using a browser.

15 minutes of your time...
The survey is divided into 25 separate questions. No detailed, technical knowledge is required to answer these questions. Participating in the survey takes about 15 minutes.
